The Cintas & Carhartt Tough Crew Contest, which launched in 2014, encourages individuals to share how their crews “Outwork Them All®” and explain why they rely on Carhartt, a brand designed for hardworking people, to help them get the job done.
For the past four years, Cintas and Carhartt have partnered to recognize individuals who withstand tough working conditions.
“This year, we took a slightly different approach and recognized hard-working crews throughout the U.S. and Canada,” says John Rudy, senior marketing and strategy manager for Cintas Corporation, North America’s largest uniform supplier. “We gathered some great stories from dedicated, diligent groups of men and women working in all types of industries, and we look forward to launching the contest again in the fall.”
Last year’s Cintas & Carhartt Cold Crew Contest, which focused on winter workers, spurred more than 15,000 entries from throughout the U.S. and Canada. Property maintenance employee Conner Schmidt from Rocky River, Ohio was voted the winner, and he enjoyed a free trip for two to the CMA Music Festival in Nashville in June.
“Hard work often goes unrewarded and we think that this competition really gives men and women working in these tough industries a platform to showcase the hard work they do as a team,” said Tony Ambroza, senior vice president of marketing at Carhartt. “Congratulations to Charles Miles and his construction crew for ‘Outworking Them All’ as the official winners of the 2015 Cintas & Carhartt Tough Crew Contest.”
