The WALTP-3X12ET-1227 tripod mounted LED light tower from Larson Electronics features three 36 watt LED light heads mounted atop an aluminum tripod and produces 6,480 lumens that can illuminate an area over 675’ in length by 150’ in width. The heavy duty aluminum tripod mount provides an easily deployed lighting solution that is adjustable from 3.5’ to 10’. An included inline transformer allows operation with common 120-277 volts AC wall outlet current. This tower has an inline switch for on/off control and can be operated with either 120-277 volts AC or 12/24 volts DC without the transformer.
Each LED light head on this unit produces 2,160 lumens each while using 36 watt at 0.3 amps. Each light head contains twelve Edison Edixeon Emitters producing 180 lumens each combined with high purity 10° optics to produce a tightly focused spot beam with limited spread or light spillage. Each light head is independently adjustable both horizontally and vertically to provide maximum coverage over the work space. These lights are IP68 rated construction that is designed to withstand demanding environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand frigid temperatures, are waterproof to three meters and resist the ingress of dust, dirt, and humidity. The housings are formed from cast aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate. This tripod mounted LED work light is equipped with 16’ of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets.
“Our new adjustable work light is made of a heavy duty construction that provides a stable lighting solution even in windy conditions,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larsonelectronics.com. “Though this tower doesn’t illuminate near as much light as a comparable metal halide, the solid state design of light emitting diodes provide a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source.”
