Marshall Tree Saw has announced the introduction of a new 6-inch diameter cylinder for its tree saw line. These saws provide more ground clearance than previous models, providing owners in areas with rocky soil conditions improved clearance. Because the cylinders are not dragging on the ground, users will have fewer chances of damage with these new saws.
In spite of the smaller size, the new Marshall Tree Saw provides the same cutting power as previous models, providing over 70,000 lbs of cutting force at 3,000 psi. This is sufficient power for cutting trees, stumps and brush. The Marshall Tree Saw can be attached to any commercially available skid steer. It has an operation capacity of 2000 to 25000 pounds and does not require High-Flow.
The saw comes with a new Brush Guard accessory, which protects the cylinders and hoses while cutting, pushing, piling and stacking cut trees and brush. The experienced operator can clear hundreds of trees an hour with the Marshall Tree Saw because of its powerful design.
The Marshall Tree Saw allows operators to cut at or below ground level, leaving no stumps behind to grind. It can be equipped with an optional integrated or add-on sprayer system to apply herbicide, preventing re-growth. It has a slow rotating, non-spinning blade made of 3/8 inch, high carbon, abrasion resistant AR-500 steel for sharp, reliable cutting that is unaffected by dirt, sand and rock. This is an advantage over high speed spinning blade saws that require the replacement of expensive carbide tipped teeth. The Marshall Tree Saw is designed to provide tough, reliable service under continuous use, so maintenance is rare. When needed, it is easy to accomplish in the field, minimizing down time and improving operations.
This particular tree saw operates 50 to 60 percent more efficiently in skid fuel computation than any other spinning blade saw in the field. It does not require PTO to run. Operators find that it has an excellent resale value as well.
