Five North American Unreserved Auctions in Fall 2015  Includes First Canadian Onsite Auction Expands Orlando, Florida 2016 Auction to Four Days.

IronPlanet®, the online marketplace for buying and selling used heavy equipment and trucks, recently announced key dates for its fall slate of Cat Auction Services onsite auctions, which features five major regional events across the U.S. and Canada, and that its 2016 kick-off in Orlando, Florida, has expanded to four days.

“Today we are announcing an exciting schedule of live unreserved auctions under our Cat Auction Services brand for this fall and into February 2016,” said Gregory J. Owens, IronPlanet Chairman and CEO. “We are thrilled with the early support that we are receiving from many Cat dealers as well as the significant interest in participation from our OEM, major account, and end-user sellers in these six sales that cover the U.S. and Canadian markets. Our Cat Auction Services auctions strongly complement IronPlanet’s weekly online auctions and will allow us to bring our over 1.4 million global buyer base to these regional auctions as well.” 

In addition to further expanding IronPlanet’s footprint in the Canadian marketplace with an auction in Edmonton, IronPlanet will be holding Cat Auction Services events across the U.S., including in the Midwest (Des Moines), Northeast (Wilkes-Barre/Scranton), Southwest (Houston), and the West (Las Vegas). IronPlanet’s 2016 Orlando sale is now a four day sale hosted by Ring Power and features 12 supporting Cat dealers.
